Abacoa Design was born in Jupiter, Florida where the Gulf Stream runs close, the bite is real, and two engineers decided to build the lure they couldn't find on the market. We come from backgrounds in aerospace engineering and precision machining. When we turned that obsession with quality toward offshore fishing tackle, we saw an opportunity to do something better. So we did.

Every Abacoa lure starts as a 3D printed prototype. We test the head geometry, refine the action, and iterate until it swims exactly right. Each head is then cast in UV cured poured resin, chosen for its clarity, durability, and versatility. These are then kitted with high quality custom eyes, skirts, and mylar wings.

Every component we use is made in the USA, either by us or sourced from American manufacturers. Small batches. Hand inspected. Shipped from Jupiter ready to fish. Built to run right. If something isn't right when you open the box, contact us and we'll fix it.
