Jupiter Offshore Fishing Report & Forecast – August 17–22, 2026

If you're heading offshore out of Jupiter this week, conditions are looking mostly favorable to start. Shower and storm chances build as the week goes on, so keep an eye on the radar.

What's Biting Offshore?

Mahi-Mahi

Mahi bite is on out of Jupiter the last few weeks, with multiple boats reporting steady action. Look past the 150 ft range for organized weed lines, structure, and bird activity. Bull dolphin in the 50+ pound class have been coming over the rail recently, so keep the leader and drag ready for a big one.

Wahoo

Wahoo remain a strong target this time of year, with fish in the 50+ pound range showing up on recent trips. The West Palm Beach Fishing Club's Full Moon Wahoo Tournament series wraps up its final event this month, so tournament pressure on the local wahoo grounds is picking up. High-speed trolling and planer setups continue to produce.

Blackfin Tuna

Blackfin bite is steady, and jigging has been especially productive lately. Tuna, bonita, almaco jack, and amberjack all coming up on the jig around structure and current edges.

Sailfish

Expect to find sailfish in the 50-100 range slow trolling live bait or running a planer.

Bonita, Kingfish & Amberjack

Bonita have been thick, and jigging trips have been putting good numbers of bonita, kingfish, and amberjack in the box together. A solid option for a mixed-bag day when the bigger pelagics are being finicky.

NOAA Marine Weather

Monday: South winds 5–10 knots, 1 foot seas, should be a lake out there.

Tuesday: Northwest winds 5-10 knots becoming south in the afternoon, seas 1–2 feet. Afternoon shower and thunderstorm chances developing.

Wednesday–Thursday: Winds generally light and variable out of the south/southwest, seas holding around 2 feet or less. Moisture continues to build, so expect scattered storms pushing offshore each afternoon.

Friday–Saturday: Light morning winds giving way to afternoon storm activity. Get out early and plan to be back in before the buildups fire.
